Manhunt for armed robbery suspects

Police in Tzaneen have launched a manhunt for four armed men who escaped with an undisclosed amount of money, and some valuable items after robbing a Cellphone shop on Thursday afternoon.

According to eye witnesses, the suspects arrived at the shop around 18:00 and held the staff at gun point.

“They took cash, cellphones and other valuable items before escaping in a white golf without a registration number. The suspects’ car had tinted windows,” said the witness.

Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel, Moatshe Ngoepe confirmed the incident and said the police are searching for the suspects.

Ngoepe appealed to anyone with information about the suspects and their whereabouts to contact the nearest police station.
