Phalaborwa: SAPS takes to team building

It was attended by the station commander, officers, members, CPF, VEP, and was also graced by Pastors Mongwe and Mnisi of Lulekani Pastors’ Forum.

Lulekani police recently held a team building event at their police station.

According to Sergeant Reoh Mabunda, communications officer, the event was arranged after the station commander realised that her members needed to uplift their morale.

The event was coupled with the issuing of certificates to members who did the extra mile in their work. They were rewarded for effective and efficient service delivery.

The station commander, Lt Col Mackenzie Prince Mkansi, applauded recipients and encouraged them to work even harder to ensure that the SAPS flag flies high.

“I would like to commend all the recipients for their unselfishness and positive attitude during service delivery,” he stated.

“I would also like to urge those who didn’t receive anything to grab opportunities. I would further like to assure members that this would be done frequently,” said the police commander.

“Police are there to ensure we carry out our constitutional mandate. The ‘Batho Pele’ [people first] principles, our vision and mission of creating a safer environment to our community, are also prioritised,” concluded Mkansi.
