THE Tzaneen Care Group held their annual Ladies High Tea on October 25 at Unicorn Preparatory School.
This event served to raise awareness of cancer and how it affects women. The theme was Vintage Lace and the Tea proved to be a huge success with 130 ladies attending.
There was a beautiful solo performance by the talented Mari Weber and a very informative talk by Miriam Aboo of Mystique Beauty Studio.
The ladies were also given an emotional yet inspirational talk by Elanie van Rooyen and Wilette Engelbrecht. Ladies left with a better understanding of what it was like to be a cancer warrior and to have a loved one battle cancer.
There were goodie bags for each lady and lots of lucky draw prizes that were won. Good food, delectable desserts and a lovely morning was had by all.The Tzaneen Care Group wishes thank all who sponsored, contributed and attended the event.
It is a blessing to be living in such a caring community. Continued support from the community makes it possible for the ladies of the Tzaneen Care Group to continue their work.
