Maria keeps her winning momentum

She always strives to come out first in the marathons she is able to participate in and that is always the result that she gets.

Maria Malatji (59) recently took part in the SA Run 4 Cancer Ultra Marathon which took place in Polokwane, bringing home fruitful results.

Speaking to the Letaba Herald, Malatji stated that the marathon was exceptional and she enjoyed having taken part in it.

“We ran from Nobody to Peter Mokaba Stadium and I could feel that all my hard work and training was going to pay off for me.I enjoyed every bit of the marathon, from start to finish,” she exclaimed.

Malatji made contact with Herald as soon as she got back from her fruitful journey, excited to share her news and hopefully gain sponsors in the long run.

She took part in the 21km run, bringing home a gold medal from the SA Run 4 Cancer marathon and a second medal for acknowledgement of participation.

Malatji also plans on taking part in the upcoming Magoeba Plunge marathon which will be happening on Saturday, November 23.
