Python released safely after visit to ZZ2

The python was found stuck in one of the truck's engines.

A large python was recently pulled out of one of ZZ2’s truck’s.

According to the marketing manager at ZZ2, Clive Garrett, the incident happened at one of the ZZ2 farms situated in Jachtpad, Mooketsi.

“It was around 10:00 when this happened. We were busy loading up the truck to transport tomatoes to the pack-house when the driver noticed something wasn’t quite right,” stated Garrett.

After checking the truck, the snake was found in the engine compartment and from thereon, the extraction began.

“It took some doing but the snake was removed from the engine after some time. It was unharmed and set free at one of our farms,” Garrett further stated.

He concluded by making mention that it was the first time that they had such a large snake extracted from their trucks.
