TZANEEN: Walking for a charitable cause
The Tzaneen Community Forum hosted yet another fun walk/run recently to raise funds for the operational purposes of the forum.
The event took place from the Tzaneen Lifestyle Center as of 07:00 and saw a closing at 10:30.
Walkers, runners, pets and children spent the most part of their morning participating in the fun packed event of the day.
Every participant was given a medal at the end of their 5km walk/run and the winners of all the category routes were given prizes sponsored by Vodacom, African Bank and Hundai to list but a few.

After the fun walk/run was done, the crowd gathered together in dance to help relax their muscles from the 5, 10 and 21km routes that were offered on the day.
The organisers gave a well rounded thank you speech to all participants for taking time out of their day to support the cause and making it an enjoyable, fun day for all.
Mentioning that there is hope of a bigger turnout for next year’s spring opener, Stephan van Rensburg kept the crowd on their feet with excitement and encouraging the sponsors to join them yet again in planning and organising the event for next year.
