KNP: Disruption of services have tourists fuming

The Kruger National Park (KNP) is currently experiencing some labour challenges which is resulting in services being disrupted.

This according to Glen Phillips, Managing Executive of the KNP.

A letter was supplied to the Herald which is currently being handed out to tourists.

In the letter, Phillips informed tourists and visitors to the park that: “Management is engaging with the employees too resolve the matter.”

A source within the KNP at the Letaba Camp informed the Herald that the fueling station is currently closed.

“Tourists are fuming, they cant refuel and it seems that the hut attendants are also on strike,” the source told the Herald.

Rumours are circulating that the strike is allegedly due to overtime that has not been paid to the employees.
