Limpopo Premier appoints new cabinet

The public had mixed reactions after the announcement was made and the new MECs, with their roles, were listed on the Greater Tzaneen Municipality's Facebook page.

The Premier of Limpopo, Stan Chupu Mathabatha has appointed a new cabinet.

Former MEC for Economic Develoment, Environment and Tourism, Charles Seaparo Sekoati has been appointed MEC for Provincial Treasury.

Polly Boshielo (Education), Dr Phophi Ramathuba (Health), Basikopo Makamu has been moved to Cooperative Governance, Human Settlement and Traditional Affairs.

Former Executive Mayor of Mopani District Municipality, Nkakareng Rakgoale has been appointed MEC for Social Development.

Thabo Andrew Mokone has been appointed MEC for Economic Develoment and Tourism, Dr Onnica Mochadi (Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure).

Former MEC for Education, Dickson Namane Masemola has been appointed MEC for Transport and Community Safety.

Nandi Ndalane (Agriculture) while Thandi Moraka has been retained as MEC for Sports, Arts and Culture.
