BREAKING: Firearms and explosives dug up in graveyard handed over to Tzaneen SAPS
'It was buried at the graveyard wrapped in plastic bag (sic) and blue overalls.'
According to a reliable source, members of the Tzaneen Tracking Team (TTT) questioned two suspects, Tuesday March 26, who were detained for further investigations.
According to the source, the suspects revealed where a hidden weapon, which was used for an alleged attempted murder was buried.
“The firearm was found at the graveyard, wrapped in a plastic bag,” the Herald was told.

The firearm was exhumed and handed over to the Tzaneen SAPS.
“The magazine was not found upon recovery,” the Herald was told.
According to the source more information was revealed to the investigation team.

One of the suspects (name known) led the team and more explosives were discovered just outside Polokwane in the Bochum area.
It is futher alleged that the recovered firearm and explosives could be linked to a cash in transit heist that occurred at the Risaba Filling Station.
According to another source, the firearm and explosives could also be part of a syndicate of ATM bombings in the Tzaneen / Polokwane area.
Captain Motsweri, Tzaneen SAPS spokesperson could neither confirm nor deny the allegations or findings.
“I do not know anything at the moment. I will revert back to your publication in the morning,” Motsweri told the Herald.
The names of the suspects and the case number is known to the Herald.
