Learners receive stationery and sanitary pads
The saying that 'it takes a village to raise a child' was brought to life as Wisma Group together with Munghana Lonene FM donated sanitary pads and school uniform at two local schools recently
The team first donated sanitary pads to Timangeni Primary School in Burgerdorp Village and they subsequently moved to Dumela High School at Rhulani Village where they donated sanitary pads, uniform and school bags with stationery.
Owner of Wisma Group, Wisani Manganyi born and bred in Giyani was approached by an announymous concerned resident from Rhulani Village about the poverty in the area.
“We are grateful for the donations that they gave to our learners and this will in turn benefit our community at large and our doors are always opened for them,” explained Joseph Nkwinika, Dumela High School Principal

The high school has produced great scholars such as the current Minister of Finance, Tito Mboweni and the Spokesman of the Provincial Health Department, Neil Shikwambana, just to name a few.
“Everything went well and we were happy with how everything went and in the near future we will comeback to some of the local impoverished schools in the area,” explained Manganyi in conclusion.
