MOPANI: Kids enjoy fun-filled sports day

Everyone had a lot of fun and many children showed great potential in their future athletic careers.

Lamb’s Haven Kindergarten in Fobeni held their first official sports day last Friday.

Adorable kids, from two years-old to five years-old participated in various races, from egg races to obstacle courses and sprints.

Everyone had a lot of fun and many children showed great potential in their future athletic careers.

The children competed against a local village day care called “House of Prayer day care”.

This day care is part of the House of Prayer church that is partnering with Lamb’s Haven’s parent Organization, Tshega Christian Mission (TCM).

TCM is an NPO with various Educational Programs, including Lamb’s Haven and the Lighthouse Academy.

Diederik Niehaus, Principal of Lighthouse believes that “We need to create a safe home environment in the school in order for each child to thrive.”

“All the teachers are exceptional here and you won’t find a better team to motivate, support and teach your child.” said acting principal of Lamb’s Haven, Chantal Holtzhausen.
