VIDEO: Help find this Tzaneen diesel thief
It is alleged that the driver sped off with diesel worth over R3 000 without paying.
The Global Emergency RAPID Response & Crime Prevention Team GCF forum posted CCTV footage of the alleged incident, which occurred at Tzaneen Engen Garage, on social media.
The ‘theft’ happened around 20:30 on Thursday January 10.
“A case of theft was open and no arrest have been made,” Col Moatshe Ngoepe told Letaba Herald.
“Preliminary investigations show that the number plate used on the bakkie does not belong to the guy involved,” Suhel Mohammed, fuel station manager told the Herald.
The driver asked the petrol attendant to fill five 25-litre cans with diesel that was at the back of the bakkie.
It is alleged that the driver sped off with diesel worth over R3 000 without paying.

Col Ngeope advised Letaba Herald to publish the video in order to assist the police in apprehending the culprit.
