TZANEEN: Miss Teen Limpopo talks all things sanitary

The reigning Miss Teen Limpopo, Munene Dzavana is on a mission to help a girl-child succeed at school through her pad campaign.

Collaborating with the First Lady of Greater Tzaneen Municipality, Precious Mangena and Absa Bank as the main sponsor, Dzavana recently visited Masungulo Primary School in Nkowankowa and Matimu Primary School in Petanenge Village, where she donated pads to over 100 learners.

“Many of these learners cannot afford to buy sanitary pads, instead during their periods they stay home and miss few a days of class.

“As a result, it impacts negatively on their progress at school, this campaign strives to prevent such things from happening,” explained Dzavana, when asked about her inspiration for the initiative.
