HAENERTSBURG: Teenage boy reported missing

The teen left his mother's home on Thursday, May 31 and a further report suggests he was seen walking along the R71 road heading towards Tzaneen on Saturday, June 2.

The police in Haenertsburg around Mankweng Cluster have launched a search operation for a 17-year-old boy, Machipi Maile from Segwashi village.

Maile who is a Grade 8 learner at Makome High School, was allegedly last seen on Thursday, May 31 at his homestead after he was reprimanded by his mother for coming home late. He then left without telling anyone where he was going and never returned home.

The teen was wearing a yellow t-shirt, blue and yellow track top with zip, brown long trousers and white sandals at the time of his disappearance.

Further police investigations reveal that he was seen by his uncle walking along the R71 road heading towards Tzaneen on Saturday, June 2.
