HALO offers hope for emaciated Shebise

Shebise was a pitiful sight, but HALO stepped in to offer him a second chance.

On their last trip to Moraba, this Greyhound was brought to Hoedspruit Animal Outreach (HALO), as his owner was desperately looking for help.

Run down, full of internal and external parasites, and subsequently suffering from a nasty skin infection, Shebise was a pitiful sight.

Obviously, there was no doubt that Shebise should go for observation and treatment.

Now in their holding camp, the dog is being medicated against his ailments and just within a few days, Shebise’s demeanour had improved remarkably.

He is sniffing around and about and is making acquaintances with the other HALO dogs in their care. And if Shebise has the will to live and get better, then HALO will do their best to help him on his road to recovery.

One thing they desperately need to help this boy is some good quality dog pellets.

If you would like to help Shebise, please drop some dog food at ProVet or Maroela Animal Hospital.

You can also leave a bag in their HALO Box at BUCO or contact them on 072 437 7006.
