TZANEEN: EFF march against Van Velden and Mopani municipal manager

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in the Mopani District Municipality handed over a memorandum to Van Velden Hospital on Wednesday, February 28.

The march started outside Letaba TVET College to Van Velden Hospital and will end at the Mopani Disaster Management offices in Tzaneen.

The party accuses the hospital of racism and ill treatment of both staff and patients among other issues.

It will also hand in the memorandum to the Mopani District Municipality, calling for the arrest of the Mopani Municipal Manager, Republic Monakedi later on Wednesday.

They accuse Monakedi of corruption and issuing tender contracts without following the proper procedures.

EFF Limpopo Secretary, Jossey Buthane, graced the march and handed over the memorandum to the management of  the hospital.Buthane also told the black employees to stop fearing their white superiors.
