Mopani team ready for provincial championships
The Mopani District School Sports has managed to select 180 Primary school athletes and 200 Secondary school athletes at Tzaneen Primary School and Ben Vorster High school respectively last week for the provincial championships.
The teams will represent the district in the provincial championships at the University of Limpopo on March 3 for the primary schools and March 10 for Secondary schools.

 The Mopani team is formed by athletes from the following clusters; Giyani, Ritavi, Bolobedu, Maruleng, Maseko, Phalaborwa and Thabina.
“The district has selected a strong team to represent it at the provincial championships and they are very hopeful that mopani will dominate the medal presentation and team Limpopo,”said Moses Mohale, Mopani District School League and Events.
