Dam levels rise due to recent rains

The recent rains have given a major boost to the dam and river levels country wide

The Mopani District Municipality dams have been on the rise over the past few months.

Neil Shikwambana, Mopani District Municipality, still urges the community to continue using water sparingly.

Here are the levels of the district dams as of February 29; Tzaneen Dam 51.82%, Klaserie 104.7%, Tours 80.81%, Ebenezer 89.42%, Merensky 105.50%, Makgoebaskloof 102.03%, Vergeleegen 102.97, Middle Letaba 26.26%, Modjadji 65.99%, Thabina 101 and Nsami 99.77%.
