Police has launched a man hunt for Business Robbery

The Hoedspruit police have launched a manhunt for a group of armed suspects who have committed various crimes around the Modjadjiskloof area as well as in and around The Oaks on Monday.

“According to the information the group of armed suspects wearing balaclavas went to Taposa cafe where they tied the securities with cable ties and they broke the door and entered and broke into the safe and stole an undisclosed amount of money”, stated Hoedspruit police spokesperson Constable Livhuhani Mulaudzi.

It is also alleged that that the suspects attended to destroy an ATM with digging tools but failed.

“The group of suspects were driving a stolen Isuzu bakkie that was reported stolen at the Modjadjiskloof police station”, she further stated.

The suspects abandoned the stolen vehicle in The Oaks and stole another vehicle from a shop owner, no arrests have been made to date.
