At Dududu Primary School, in Nkowankowa first time learners came with their parents for support.
” We are very excited for the year ahead and would like to assure parents that our teachers will take good care of them and we are ready to educate them,” said Priscilla Ndlovu, Principal at the school
All grade R’s were taken around the school to get familiar with the learning facilities by their teachers.
Thandi Mushwana, a teacher at the school had already started making the learners comfortable by making them sing songs.
“I’m very happy as a grandmother that my grandchild has started a wonderful journey of getting an education for the first time today,” said Sewela Mushwana, grandmother of one of the learners.
