Primary children receive Christmas gifts

Amorentia Estates together with Univeg donated Christmas gifts to Thlalefa and Politsi primary schools.

Christmas carols were sung by the Thlalefa primary school learners in the spirit of Christmas.

“It has been a wonderful year and what we have done here is a token of appreciation to both the learners as well as educators and we look forward to the following year working together with such a great team,” said Chairperson of the SGB Wynand Espach.

“Thank you for a wonderful 2016, it was a hectic year with only 3 educators at our school, you were available at all times and listened to our petty issues, to Wynand Espach, the Farm manager and chairperson of our Student Governing Body (SGB), we are humbled by your Ubuntu and humility” said Thlalefa primary school principal Rose Matome.

Each learner received a gift which were categorised according to their age groups, and they were really excited when they received their gifts.

“Most of these learners are from underprivileged backgrounds and it is fulfilling to see the joy in the learners eyes that shows appreciation even though they cannot voice it out, their eyes say it all’, said Rose.

“We would like to wish each and every learner as well as their parents a merry Christmas filled with joy and a prosperous new year” said the principal.
