NEWS FROM NY: Miracles can still happen

A Christmas miracle for Imke, Tzaneen's little warrior Angel. $100k raised in two days and confirmation that her treatment can continue.

It was tears of joy when the Geldenhuys family received the news that Imke’s treatment can continue.

Darius, Imke’s dad posted on Facebook that they had a visit from the Head of Administration of the Department of Pediatrics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

She confirmed that that Imke’s treatment will continue as planned.

It was tears of joy.

Darius said that he jumped up and gave the administrator the biggest and longest hug

‘What a relief to hear those words, he said.

According to Darius, Imke’s protocol will go on and continue as planned even though they have not received the outstanding $585 000.

Arrangements will be made to pay it off.

‘How great is our God,’ he posted.

The family would like to thank everyone standing in faith and praying with them for this breakthrough.

‘A big thank you for every donation that has miraculously come in so far for Imke’s life saving treatment…in not even 2 days over $100 000 came in.’

He also thanked the Arms Wide Open Foundation where funds are being paid into for Imke’s medical treatment for the the support and for their love.
