UPDATE: Killer doctor denied bail

25 year old Ndivhuwo Mudau, who was accused of murdering a 25 year old woman from Nkowankowa outside Tzaneen, was denied bail after appearing before the Thohoyandou magistrate court.

“The body of the woman was found at Tshilidzini hospital in the suspect’s official house within the hospital yard”, said Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe.

A massive manhunt was launched by the Thohoyandou police until he eventually handed himself over.

The deceased was a student at the University of Venda.

“The case was remanded to January 23 for further Police investigations and he is still held in custody without bail” he further stated.
