Tzaneen Cluster excels at awards
Tzaneen cluster police officers scooped awards at the Provincial Excellence Awards in Polokwane on Saturday.
The awards celebrated members of the South African Police Services (SAPS) and their stakeholders including the Community Policing Forum (CPF).
The occasion was attended by SAPS members from all over the province at Bolivia lodge.
Tzaneen cluster took three awards; the first one was from Constable Gladstone Shabangu, who took the Sports Star of the Year Award.
Constable Klaas Edmond Mulugwa, took an award for being the best Investigator under the Child Protection Unit.
Meanwhile Marothi Letsoalo took an award under CPF. All three men are stationed at Maake police station.
Major General Maggie Mathebula said “On behalf of the Tzaneen cluster management, I would like to congratulate our members for putting
Tzaneen on the map and we also urge other members to work hard and participate.”
