Tzaneen’s weather shift: Finally, some rain!

Tzaneen and surrounds can expect more rain over the weekend and possibly even thunderstorms.

Droughts have gradually ravaged Limpopo over the past few months.

Dams have been emptied, rivers run dry. Farmers have lost crops and livestock.

Some areas even declared disaster zones.

Public prayer gatherings – by noted officials, nonetheless – have been held.

And now, finally, the rain is here.

Georges valley had little, with only 1mm.
Amorentia 2,
Letsitele Valley 4,
Agatha 4,
Politisi 8,
Tzaneen 14,
Lushof 14,
Ofcolaco 16,
Eliand area 21,
Letsitele and surrounding areas had up to 40mm.

This may just be the breakthrough everyone has been hoping and praying for.

According to eNCA Limpopo can expect the rain to continue and even develop into thunderstorms.
