Little Lisa still in hospital after accident

A child was hit by a car at Tzaneen Primary Wednesday afternoon, this after another child was hit last week at Minitzani.

Five year old, Lisa Bredenkamp, was in the process of crossing the street with her mother, Wilma, when the incident took place.

Lisa let go of her mother’s hand and ran into the street where she was struck by a vehicle.

It all happened very fast and according to sources on the scene, there was nothing the mother or the driver could do to prevent the accident.

Witnesses rushed to her side to help.

A local doctor accompanied Lisa and her mother to the hospital where she was operated on during that (Wednesday) evening.

According to a family friend, Elna Wandrag, Lisa was doing well on Thursday.

Her temperature and heart beat was normal.

The family would like to thank the community for their continuous support and prayers.
