Help identify human remains found close to Tzaneen

Police in Tzaneen are still looking for the family and relatives of the person whose bones were discovered in the bushes at Lushof in April.

The gruesome discovery of skeletal remains was made by workers who were cutting trees at farm number 64 Broederstroomsdrift in the Lushof area.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said they found a skull and bones.

Ngoepe further said evidence gathered at the scene shows that the deceased was wearing green clothes,white sneakers and was spotting dreadlocks hair style.

“The race and gender of the deceased as well of the cause of death is unknown,” said Ngoepe.

Police investigators are seeking help in identifying the deceased.

Anyone whose relative or family member is missing or has information regarding the deceased is requested to contact the Investigating Officer, Captain Mohale Mashao at 083 617 1900 or 082 319 9662 or 015 306 2000 or 0860010111 for twenty-four hours.
