Hoedies Spar wins store of the year in Lowveld region

“It’s an honour for us as it means that we are doing a great job at our store and we intend to keep it that way. Every year the stores are judged in different categories such as most hygiene, audits, and best customer care. They look at how the store is and what kind of treatment we give to our customers,” said Anthony Bredenkamp, who owns the store with his wife, Danile.

Anthony said that it takes a lot of discipline to be able to receive the award. “It’s also about working together with our workers. If we as the management do not treat our workers right, they will not be able to give their best to our customers. We have to keep a healthy and happy relationship, that way, everyone will be able to do a good job. I would like to give a massive congratulations to our whole team for winning this amazing prize.
