Emmanuel FC bolstered by home ground advantage

Surprisingly, through a stroke of luck, in their quest to find goals to save face, Musina United managed to drive two goals into the net in succession to make it 4-2, just before the referee blew the final whistle to end the match.

Musina United got more than they bargained for when they took on the local Giyani team, Emanuel FC at Giyani Stadium on Saturday afternoon, November 5.
Emanuel FC started off as the favourite to win against the visitors, more so with the support of the cheering crowd of local supporters who had come in their numbers to support their home team.

With their confidence bolstered by the support, Emanuel FC quickly got a head-start with an early goal that came in just five minutes into the match. This forced the visiting team to play a chasing game as they attempted to equalise the score.
It did not take long before another goal slipped through into the net upping the score to 2-0 against the visitors just minutes before half-time.

When they came back for the second half, the visiting team looked determined to even the score by attacking from all directions.
However, unfortunately for them, in doing so they compromised their defence at the back.
This opened up a window of opportunity for another two goals to make it 4-0, which diminished all hope of Musina United equalising the score against the host team.

Surprisingly, through a stroke of luck, in their quest to find goals to save face, Musina United managed to drive two goals into the net in succession to make it 4-2, just before the referee blew the final whistle to end the match.
The loss is expected to take Musina United further down the bottom of the log in the ABC Motsepe League.

Before the match, Emanuel FC was in position six in the league. It had three points from two previous matches, while Musina United was in position seven with three points from three games.
This win for Emanuel FC will see them move two steps up the ladder on the log to position four in the league.
