Two men found dead in Letsitele

According to police spokesperson, WO Hakamela Shivambu, the first incident took place in Shihoko village in Nwa’mitwa at around 06:00. 

“The deceased was found by the owner of the residence at the back of the house. The deceased, a 28-year-old man, was found facing the ground.” 

Shivambu said he had sustained a stab wound to the chest and blood was found near the body.

He added that the suspect or suspects are still unknown and a murder case has been opened. 

The investigation is still ongoing. In the second incident, a body of a 31-year-old man, was found at California plot 8, also in the Letsitele area. 

Shivambu said the deceased was found lying on the ground under an orange tree. 

“The deceased had an open wound on the left thigh and the right thigh was also injured. On the scene, there were footprints of a hippopotamus.” 

He said an inquest was opened and investigations were ongoing
