Tzaneen Police Station closed due to Covid-19 case

The local Tzaneen Police Station is temporarily closed for decontamination purposes after an employee at the station tested positive for the coronavirus.

Sgt Maurice Nkhwashu, police spokesperson, told the Herald that services will be rendered at the supply chain management offices.

Community members are advised to use Morgan Street entrance opposite to Standard Bank, he said.

This is the first case in the past few months at the station, after going through a period of reporting positive cases regularly.

The station will be fully functional again on Tuesday, 18 June.
