Mediclinic awaits date for vaccinations

Despite being scheduled to receive their Covid-19 vaccines on Wednesday last week, health workers at Mediclinic Tzaneen were again left in the lurch.

Dr Ig van Rensburg, chairman of Mediclinic told Herald on Monday that they have not received a new date for vaccinations to take place.

Last Wednesday was the second date they were scheduled to receive vaccinations.

The day before, on Tuesday 13 April, a hold was put on to the Johnson & Johnson vaccinations by the national Department of Health due to worldwide concerns over side effects.
