Kulani takes on the music stage

N'wana wa Galafa changes gears a bit as he embarks on the world of music

Some people were born for the stage and Kulani ‘Nwana wa Galafawa’ Mlangeni is one of those.

Mlangeni, mostly known for his radio work at the Greater Tzaneen FM as a news anchor and a presenter on his Breakfast show ‘Morning Paradise’ has released three new singles which promises to keep fans on the dance floor throughout the festive season.

His music is a mixture of house, afro-pop and amapiano, which caters for a wide range audience.

The three hits are titled Ngizomthola, Hlonipha and Vulavala.

He worked with some of the talented producers locally such as Omee Otis and The drum ghost.

He told Letaba Herald that his musical journey started few years back when he entered a talent competition in which his team won because of a speech he had written.

“After the competition I started realising that I’m indeed talented and I can write and do music,” he said.

Mlangeni is currently working on an album which will be realesed soon.

He says that the music journey is not an easy one, but with the right support it gets easy.

“My parents’ support makes it easy for me to pursue my passion.

“The support of my manager, Ernest Timbana, Billy Matlou and my friends such as Benson Molewa and Khutso Chuene also keeps me going,” added Mlangeni.

The talented young man from Mhangweni Village outside Tzaneen is currently doing a learnership in film and television which he says he is enjoying every minute of it.

Mlangeni has also established a branded t-shirt business called Mayjan which is gradually growing in the local market.

He has also made a name for himself as one of the great master of ceremony in the Tzaneen area and the audience seems to enjoy his sense of humour and ways of playing with different voices.
