Local appeals for help from the community

She is willing to offer a cash reward to anyone who can help with information to the whereabouts of her green 2200 litres Eco water tank.

With theft being an every day issue, a resident in Pharare outside Tzaneen is appealing to her community for help.

Sylvia Selepe, who is also known by Sylvia Makgae says she is willing to offer a cash reward to anyone who can help with information to the whereabouts of her green 2200 litres Eco water tank.

She told the LETABA HERALD that the tank was stolen on Tuesday, May 7 at night in her home in Pharare.

She says one of her neighbours claims to have seen a car parked outside her yard at around 21:00 on Tuesday, but they did not make out much from it since her house is near a street that cars usually pass by.

Another neighbour claims to have heard water coming from her house, but thought it could have been someone in her family that was pumping water. Sylvia says that she asked her younger sister to report the matter to the police the following day as she works in Lephalale and is currently not around.

She is offering a cash reward of R1 000 to anyone who can help the police with any useful information that can help not only in finding her water tank, but to have the culprits arrested for the theft.

Anyone with information can call Sylvia on 071 550 0934
