Bongani a finalist for Mr Commonwealth

Phalaborwa’s born and bred Bongani Brandon Motshoane, a finalist for MR Commonwealth South Africa, and the only person in Limpopo to be in the finals

Phalaborwa’s born and bred Bongani Brandon Motshoane, a finalist for MR Commonwealth South Africa, and the only person in Limpopo to be in the finals for Mr Commonwealth South Africa, is appealing to the public at large to help him raise R20 000 to help him stay in the competition and hopefully win it.

The 23-year-old, also an automotive graduate, described the Mr Commonwealth competition as the biggest ‘Mr’ competition in South Africa. He mentioned that he went to the workshop on the second of March and he made it down to the finalist.

“I am the only one in Limpopo to make it down to the finalist,” he said proudly.

He stated that the grand finale will be taking place on August 16, but his challenge is that he still needs R20 000 which will pay for what they will need during the grand finale such as accommodation, photo shoots, food and everything and he has to pay the R20 000 before the end of April.

“My biggest concern is the sponsorship because if you don’t send that money you are automatically disqualified,” he said.

Bongani explained that he has sponsorship forms for companies that wish to sponsor him.

He also stated that if a company sponsors him there are benefits for the company.

“A company that supports a finalist or sponsors one will receive benefits. I do have the paperwork for that with me,” he mentioned.
