LETSITELE: More lions poisoned in apparent ‘muti-killings’

The Police in Letsitele have launched a manhunt for the suspects involved in the killing of three lions at a farm in the Letsitele area on Sunday.

‘It is alleged that the farm manager was patrolling around the camp when she noticed that the fence was cut off. She went to the lion’s enclosure and discovered two carcasses of lions with their heads and paws cut off. The third carcass was found at the same spot with no missing parts,’ Col Moatshe Ngeope said.

The method used during the killing of these animals are subject to the ongoing police investigations.
