Tzaneen pageant queens take Limpopo by storm

Three of Tzaneen's pageant queens dominated the Miss Limpopo Rolemodel 2018 runway, which was held in Polokwane at Park Inn Radisson recently.

Nsovo Malatjie and Munene Dzavana were respectively crowned Miss Limpopo Rolemodel 2018 and Miss Teen Rolemodel Limpopo 2018, both the raving beauties hail from Nkowankowa Township.

Malatjie (21), a second year Financial Information System student from the Vaal University of Technology, says she is so happy with her new title.

“I’m overwhelmed and I would like to thank God first and foremost, it is because of his grace that I have won this pageant,”overjoyed Malatjie explained.

She has won over five pageants in the past including, Miss Gorgeous Rolemodel 2017 and Miss NEEN 2017.

Meanwhile for 17 year-old Dzavana this is her second title this year, in January she was crowned Miss Greater Tzaneen Royal Nobility 2018.

She is currently doing her Grade 11 at DZJ Secondary School in Nkowankowa and hopes to study Information Technology after high school.

“I’m very happy especially that this is my second title this year and I firstly would like to thank God for his favour in my life and my manager Ntombi Baloyi for all the support and encouragement.

The two ladies will now compete for the Miss MZANTSI Rolemodel Africa title later in the year where they will be competing against other beauty queens from all over the country.

Another shining star at the event was Ashlon Sithole, who walked away with the title of Miss Teen Second Princess, Miss Limpopo 2018 Best Personality and Miss Limpopo Rolemodel Debutant Award recipient.

The three ladies are all managed by Baloyi who is a pageant trainer and a former Miss Limpopo Rolemodel title holder herself.

Baloyi says she is extremely proud of her girls.

“As their manager, I’m incredibly proud of them for putting their best foot forward and following their dreams.

“In 2014 I was crowned Miss MZANTSI Rolemodel in Cape Town and I hope the girls will be able to bring back the national crown again to Tzaneen in their respective categories,” explained Baloyi.
