Hoedspruit Rotary making a difference

Hoedspruit Rotary is actively making a difference, through the distribution of boxes of pre-packaged nutritional meals, to organisations that focus on the well-being of vulnerable and orphaned children.

This is to keep with Rotary International’s theme this year: ‘Rotary: Making a Difference’.

The meals are donated by Blessman Ministries, local distributers for Meals from the Heartland, an organisation in Iowa, USA.

Each meal contains protein, vitamins and rice and can easily be made into a tasty casserole to feed six people.

The meals will also help feed farm workers’ children like those cared for by Balule and Richmond Crèches and the Gorutha Centre.

These excellent tasting meals are also being supplied to children supported by centres such as ECOVC (Ekurhuleni Centre for Orphans and Vulnerable Children), OVC Project, “Over the Fence Outreach”, SAME Centre and Nourish Crèche.

Any organisations interested in receiving donations of these meals please email Rose White at posy@mweb.co.za.
