#Fitness meets adventure in Magoebaskloof

His recent hike in the Haernertsburg area with a group of adventure and fitness enthusiasts is a testament to his passion for the lifestyle

Adventurer and fitness fanatic, Nyiko Masango encourages the community to get fit through hiking.

Masango runs two hiking groups which consists of young professionals and students in Gauteng and Limpopo Province.

The hikes usually include a braai where the participants enjoy each other’s company over a good meal.

“I have been hiking for years and stopped for a while but I started again in 2015 as part of a fitness campaign, in Magaliesberg. We hike once or twice a month,” said Masango.

He is not just a fitness fanatic but his titles are endless ranging from being a Youth Pastor, Professional Photographer (His photography company is called Mr Dynamix Concepts) and a personal fitness coach.

He is currently running few fitness boot camps around Tzaneen and Polokwane.

“We are embarking on another hike for a cause now in partnership with the Tzaneen Teach a Girl Foundation.

Where the R150 participating fee per person will be going towards the buying of sanitary pads which will be donated on Mandela Day,” added Masango.

The ‘Hike For a Cause’ will take place on July 15 at Debengeni Waterfall Hiking Trail in Magoebaskloof from 08:00 a.m.
