Labour official granted bail after being nabbed by Hawks

The official was arrested by the crime unit after a trap was set.

The Hawks Serious Crime Unit, arrested Collin Mpenyane (28) a Department of Labour official for fraud.

Mpenyane appeared at the Tzaneen Magistrate Court on Tuesday (May 2) on charges of corruption.

“He was granted a R2000 bail and his case has been remanded to June 6 for further investigations,” said Captain Maluleke, Hawks Spokesperson.
