Hair salons in Tzaneen CBD fight for their rights

Recently the hairstylists who operate in the Tzaneen CBD held a meeting to chase other hairstylists who they claim are stealing their customers and business.

Hair Salon owners and hairstylists are fighting for their businesses in the Central Business District (CBD) of Tzaneen.

“These people operate by standing outside the doors of our salons and steal our clients by telling them that they will do their hair at a cheaper price,”said one of the hairstylists who does not want to be named.

The anonymous hairdresser said that they are struggling to pay rent, water and electricity, because of the customers which they lose to these people who take their customers.

“They make wigs and sit outside our doors and sell them at a lower price compared to what we offer and they even make fun of us and say that rent will kill us,” added the anonymous hairstylist.
