During the state of the province address 2021, Mathabatha made a commitment to enter into service delivery agreements with MEC’s with the view to enable him to constantly monitor and assess the performances of the MECs.
Based on the subsequent performance assessments made, the moves were implemented, the premiers office said.
“I believe that these changes will strengthen good corporate governance and improve service delivery in the province for our people,” said Mathabatha.

Limpopians voiced their opinions on the premier’s office Facebook page.
Lucas M Kganyago said that “if an MEC didn’t perform well in a certain department, they will still not perform in the next one”, he commented.
Albert MT said he was happy as long as Ramathuba remains at the Department of Health as he believes that her department is functional and operational when compared to other departments.
