The world is an oyster for 11-year-old pageant girl Bonolo

The world is an oyster for pageant princess, Bonolo Makgoba, as she keeps on winning one competition after the next.

The 11-year-old from Lenyenye and Tzaneen Laerskool learner was recently crowned Miss Global Beauty Queen Diamond Pageant Festival 2022 at Springs in Gauteng. During the festival which ran for two days, she walked away with a number of prizes, including cash, 19 sashes, and 24 trophies and crowns.

Bonolo started taking part in beauty pageants at nine months when she appeared in Clicks magazine. She entered Little Miss Letaba when she was only 16 months old. Bonolo’s professional modelling career officially began at the age of three, with the Limpopo Beauty Modelling Academy. Her biggest breakthrough was when she was crowned, Little Miss Queen of the North in 2014, at the age of 3 and since then she has never looked back.

She has countless special awards, which include provincial and national awards. Some of her titles include Little Miss Maake Plaza 2015, Miss Face of Tzaneen Lifestyle 2016, Little Miss Letaba Show 2017, Little Miss United World 2018, Mini Miss Galaxy 2019, Little Miss Princess SA 2020, Miss Junior Jaguar Polokwane 2020, and Queen of the North 2021, amongst the many titles.

She is currently the reigning Miss Limpopo Province Preteen 2022. Her mother, Sophia Makgoba told the Herald that she is proud of her daughter’s achievements. “As a parent, it is my duty to support my child and I will always help her if she continues her modelling career
because it’s her passion,” she concluded.
