Be part of the annual Walk 4 Wildlife
Residents of Hoedspruit are asked not to miss the third annual Walk 4 Wildlife on Saturday, November 20 at Thirsty Giraffe Pub and Grill.
The 5km walk is hosted by Scales Conservation Fund and sponsored by Campfire Properties and Zandspruit Estates. The Walk 4 Wildlife is a wander (or run if you prefer) through the bush under the full moon, a stunning setting and great experience all in aid of conservation.
Scales Conservation Fund’s founder and managing director, Amy Aucamp-Clark, says all monies raised will be donated to Scales Conservation Fund and Anti-Poaching, environmental education and rehabilitation partners. Entry is R50 per person, R20 for under 12 and registration will open from 17:00 until 18:20.

She said the walk will begin at sunset (approximately 18:30). Last year, 264 people participated in the walk raising an amount of R12 050. Last year participants were encouraged to dress up for Halloween as the event fell on Halloween and they did not disappoint.
