We need your help!

I am calling on my fellow Krugersdorpers to support the News team’s community project, aptly named Hande vat vir Liefde.

On Saturday, 6 May, the News team, together with the Amandel Aksie group from the Suiderlig church, will host a knot blanket-making workshop. At this workshop you will be taught how to make a blanket which will help keep the four-legged residents of this town warm during winter.

The only way for us to make this project a success is for you to join hands with us.

I cannot stress enough how great the need for warmth is this winter. Those of us who are very fortunate to fall asleep in a cozy warm bed often forget about the vulnerable trying to stay warm during the cold nights.

I am calling upon my friends in Krugersdorp, my family members, my acquaintances, my contacts and confidants – let’s join hands and make this winter bearable for all.

We know we cannot solve all our problems with a blanket, but we can ease a cold mind and warm a deserving heart.
