While many Krugersdorpers take a much-needed break as the end of the first third of the year approaches, the rest of us are left to reflect on what can easily be considered a bumpy beginning for 2017.
The ups and downs, for me, are quite equal so far, but things might get worse. But I am an optimist and I have chosen to be positive!
We have seen some major events happening in the first four months of 2017. Our leaders have let us down, and we are being asked to use the side-door because we are no longer deemed worthy as an economically strong country. Whichever way you see the turmoil, what I see means that there is only one way out – and that’s unity.
As an individual, I might not conquer much, but as a unit we can move mountains. Maybe only little mountains for now, but working together will make them huge.
From my side I just want to thank the community for always coming to our aid. We can always rely on our fellow Krugersdorpers to remind us about the lighter side of life. We thoroughly enjoy your comical banter on Facebook and value the input you give.
