Is Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce still making headlines?
Why? I really want to know why these people are getting so much attention for something that is supposed to be a private matter.
We have far bigger fish to fry and keeping ourselves occupied with someone else’s terrible situation is not the way forward.
If we do not seriously look into our water wastage woes, we are going to be in big trouble. Not to mention the fact that our universities are on the brink of being burnt down in the country’s student demonstrations.
Furthermore, the African elephant will soon join its Big 5 counterpart, the rhino, on the almost extinct list.
These things are serious problems that we as a nation and community need to deal with.
I am sure you are asking, “How do I deal with this?” It’s simple … start the conversation and run with it.
Arm yourself with the facts, surround yourself with like-minded individuals, and work towards a goal. Even if it is just getting your neighbours to cooperate in saving water!
The time is now, Krugersdorp – we need to take back our community and keep our minds and thoughts occupied with positive thoughts about things that really matter.
