This coming Friday, the News team will take part in a fundraising initiative hosted by the Krugersdorp Rotary Club.
It’s been a while since the News formed part of any fundraising initiatives and it’s not something we are proud of admitting.
Nevertheless, we are taking part and since the saying goes ‘charity begins at home’ and the Krugersdorp community is practically our home, we challenge other businesses and institutions to join us.
Not necessarily on Friday night, but join us in taking on any charity initiative, even if it is just taking part in Takkie Tax or Casual Day events.
There is actually so much that can be done, and the great thing about it, you don’t need a lot of money.
By giving your time, it is also just a thoughtful as giving money to a worthy cause.
The News regularly publishes articles about charity initiatives on our website … there is really no reason not to get involved.
So, where will you find a good helping hand? At the end of your own arm of course!
Get off your office chair, or couch and start planning on how to get involved.
Giving really is better than getting and it is also the best feeling in the world knowing that you helped.
