I must admit, the news of the Merc gang possibly being arrested did get me excited.
But after learning that police say they are not the culprits linked to the Krugersdorp cases made me worry again.
When are these spineless criminals going to strike again?
A lot of questions have been asked to the News about the gang and the police’s proactive approach.
Do I think the police have the situation under control … not really? And not because I do not have faith in our men in blue, I just believe they are so swamped with other crime related issues that they cannot focus entirely on one gang terrorising Krugersdorp.
That’s the reality of it and it is really sad.
The message I would like to get across to our valued readers; be vigilant.
Do not let these perps get a hold of you. Keep your eyes open and be alert. Get yourself protected and educated. Make sure you are aware of everything at all times and if you suspect anything suspicious, have the necessary tools like an emergency number on hand.
For now we have to sit tight and trust that our police will do their work to the best of their ability.
