Sparks were literally flying after Krugersdorpers learnt about the electricity and water disruption following the lightning storm that hit town this past Valentine’s Day.

As a Krugersdorper myself, I am also worried about my frozen food in my fridge at home.

The other thing I am also worried about is the large stack of laundry I have to iron.

But what can we do about it? Sue Mother Nature for the damaged caused at the power station?

Don’t get me wrong, I know this is a huge imposition for residents, but maybe we should put some trust in the Eskom and Mogale City technicians and electricians working on this situation.

This was genuinely a freak accident of nature and to call out Mogale City for not maintaining their infrastructure is just wrong because the power station is practically brand new.

The News was present when it was officially switched on last year.

I am going to put my trust into the hands of the very skilled electricians working on this matter and I want to wish them luck!

Let’s stand together on this Krugersdorp!
